Otterbox Defender or Speck Candyshell?

Hi,

I'm getting the iphone 5 in January and am trying to decide on a case. I'll probably be getting applecare+ (a bunch of people have told me it's worth it and it's less expensive than insuring the phone through Sprint). Any opinions on the Otterbox Defender vs the Speck Candyshell? If I get the Candyshell, I'd probably get the grip or another one that is shock absorbent.

I like the Candyshell...decent protection ( not as much as the Otterboc tho) without the bulk

Otterboxes are eye sores. Get the Speck! The CandyShell is a well-designed case that offers a lot of protection for its size. It's surprisingly thin, too. Noticeably thinner than the 4/4S version.
