ok... i'm prepping for 3gs delivery and.....

i'm not looking for a waterproof case i'm just looking for a sweat proof case... while: mountain biking, snowmobiling, snow skiing, and of course yard work & snowblowing/plowing... I SWEAT! that is my biggest "fear" with the iphone.... (that dreaded moisture tattle-tail thing inside the iphone, how touchy are they?) my crappy samsung flip phone has been sweat on for a couple years and nothing has happened

i know about the ziploc thing... but do you still need a ziploc with the defender (as long as i don't take the screen protector off of course)

thanks for the input...

The defender covers up the earphone jack and docking port so that water doesn't accidentally go inside.

Defender can definitely hold its own against sweat. covers the dock and headphone ports so you won't trip those sensors.
