Got one of these to try it out and I have to say I like it.At first I thought I would not like it due to the fact I always thought Otterbox was a cheap brand and not good at what they do, I was wrong. Don't feel it to be bulky at all. Just think the mute switch is a bit difficult to work with.

Anyone care to share if they got one too?

How is screen sensitivity, and audio of both on calls and playing music through the speakers?

The screen is a bit far from the actual phone screen, but nothing to drive you mad, its decent to good. The call quality I found to be good and not muffled at all, could hear the other person perfectly. Regarding playing music, is sounds very nice for a case that its supposed to be waterproof, the speaker reproduces sound with slightly less quality you would get without the case on.

Thanks for the information.

Does the screen have a grainy metallic look to it? Lifeproof 5S fre does.

I think Otterbox is an awesome brand and anything but cheap. Sturdy, solid and well-fitted cases; I trust no one but Otterbox.

I only wish that they did the Commuter series for iPad as the Defender cases, with their integrated screen cover, remove the silkiness of the screen. (Like any screen cover, I suppose.)

Awesome to hear so far. I'm excited to get my case, I was waiting for the Pistachio color. I'm waiting on my case to come tomorrow hopefully!

What color did you get? Pics?

Only one I have with me.

I just received my case an am somewhat disappointed.

The screen protecter drastically reduces the sensitivity of the touch screen making it feel like my first touch phone from 10 years ago.
The protecter does not lay flat on the phone and I can push down and feel the gap.
Can anyone confirm that this is normal?

Also, the home button is extremely difficult to access.
Makes me want to try the nuud instead.

I can definitely feel a gap in the screen protector on mine, but it doesn't bother me. Touch screen sensitivity does not seem affected.

I use my Preserver only when I'm camping. It's a slim case for an Otterbox but it makes the iPhone feel huge. I prefer my TPU Diztronic case for everyday use.

Sound is diminished greatly. That is to be expected from a waterproof case.
Mute button is very hard to engage.

Read the reviews on Amazon.

I wouldn't spend $80 on a 'waterproof' case until they perfect them, and they haven't.

Do you have any tips on getting the mute switch to engage? I can't seem to make it toggle at all. Picked the case up on sale so not too fussed by the cost, but I am a bit put off on using it too much if I can't get the switch to reliable work.

note 4

do you know when life proof, or otter box preserver series will be released, im very worried about breaking mine and it cost way to much for that to happen?

Looks a lot like the lifeproof cases.

Seeing as how the companies (lifeproof and otter box) merged, I'm guessing it's the same design.

The company's did merge but the manufacturing and designs are still seperate.

----------

They could've really added a belt clip tho.

The only case offered with a belt clip is the defender case.

Whether it is life proof or otter box, the screen cover should be snug against the screen.
