Otterbox screen protector

Hey guys, i had a plumber here today who had an otterbox defendor on his 3G , it felt great! Now I'm wanting one formy 4s. But...... Could I easly remove the built in screen protector and still have a rock sold fit without dust getting inside the case.

Dust is going to get inside anyway. Pull that ugly screen protector out of there. That's what my girlfriend did.
