Why did Otterbox stop making defender series cases without a screen protector? I’m still using an iP8+, but wanted to upgrade this year. I see other manufacturers make a case with screen protector on it. Just curious why Otterbox doesn’t anymore.

Personally I’d never use a case with a built in screen protector. Dirt/grit can get inside and scratch the screen. That seems to be a common complaint with the Otterbox type of cases and lots of people would end up removing the screen protector anyway. I’d assume that’s the reasoning.

I second that. I would rather buy my own tempered glass screen protector for the case.
