Our baby announcement - and ode to Steve Jobs Keynotes

Well my wife thought I was crazy, but this is what I drew up in my head to announce the arrival of our first baby. I wanted to see what the MacRumors community thinks of it?

Without really saying what I think of your idea without being nice. This makes somewhat sense, still bizarre, your idea is exactly what your wife thinks.

People actually do these? We didn't do one. Come to think of it, it somehow slipped out during a conversation and then within a day or two every family member, immediate and distant, learned about it.
