Our new MBP i7 is stuck in Louisville KY

My daughter's old MBP died a few days ago so I ordered her a new i7 MBP. It was shipped from China but it's been stuck in Louisville KY (arrival scan but no departure scan) since yesterday morning. Is anyone else experiencing shipping delays in KY? :confused:

Im guessing it wont be delayed. Sometimes the scanners dont get downloaded when packages are scanned. Ive seen this with quite a few packages.
 
I Have the same problem. It suppose to be delivered by 22nd but now i dont know anymore if i will even get it by the weekend.

I've ordered and received literally dozens of packages from China over the last few years, all have gone through customs. 90% of the time, the tracking will list this as "received" and NOT be updated for several days, somteimes weeks. About half the time, the package is released and delivered, and the tracking still won't update. In every case, the package was delivered and I've never had a problem with receipt; it's just the tracking thats goofed up.

I wouldn't be worried in the least about this, your experience is the norm.

I do know this can cause a bit of anxiety, as it's comforting to know that your package is making progress. Just the way it is with stuff coming out of China and through customs.

Wow....when my MacBook hit Louisville earlier this week I received mine later that same day. I live an hour South of Louisville. Point being, mine wasn't stuck for even a minute in Louisville.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Hope you get it soon!
 
I called UPS and asked why tracking shows LOUISVILLE and she told me that it was not at the customs yet. My package suppose to be delivered tomorrow to Mississauga ON. She also told me, it is a large shipment from apple and new estimated delivery date would be Monday 26th. I am not sure if she knew what she was talking about because i dont think it takes 3 days to clear customs. I keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow, but i thing it will come in on Friday.
 
Looks like things are moving out of Louisville KY again... :D

MBP should be here latter today, it's a truck home delivery from Concord. :D

AHH! Sorry to revive an old thread, but my MBP still shows its in Louisville. It had a delivery date of today, but the delivery date is now gone so I dont no when I will get it!

The iPod Touch I ordered with it is out for delivery as I type this, I hope my MBP hasnt been updated and does deliver today!!!

EDIT Well, my iPod was just delivered, but no MBP! I might call UPS and see what my delivery date is, as the site does not have one...
