I disliked beta 3, battery life was horrendous, wallpaper crashes, photos app crashes, it changed the font (or was it beta 2) and all that jazz. I liked the font of beta 1 with the stability of beta 5

Beta 1 and 2 have definitely been the worst for me!Beta 1 was slow, laggy, whereas beta 2 just crashed on my iPad and iPod all the time!Beta 3 was ok, beta 4 was great, excellent and beta 5 for me is eh...It works the same beta 4 did on my iPhone, worse on my iPod Touch and it has a lot of bugs on the iPad!

Besides being buggy, I had no major issues with beta 1 at all. Beta 2 crashed way too much.. It was near-unusable. Beta 3 crashed twice and I had to restore back to iOS 6. Beta 4 was very stable, only a few random restarts. Beta 5 has been amazing so far, besides a few screen glitches; nothing major.

Beta 1 and 2. Beta 1 was pretty unstable for me, regular resprings etc. Beta 2 was a bit better but still had some app crashes and system stability problems. Betas 3 through 5 have been very stable for me, with Beta 5 being the best yet. It's really starting to exhibit the level of polish I expect from iOS.

I didn't have the missed calls problem.

Definitely beta 1 and 2. I've started using beta 4 and 5 as a daily driver / test device as it just feels so much more polished.

Wait you guys all mean to tell me that the first few betas were the worst and by 4 / 5 things got better? So weird! 10/10 thread.

Well this is also aesthetic/feature wise. All the betas were pretty stable for me.

Since beta 1 and 2 was bad enough for daily usage, skipped beta 3 and loaded beta 4. Man, beta 4 is very good on all my devices. But man, beta 5 is nightmare. I do hope beta 6 brings back to beta 4 performance. Main while, reloading beta 4

Beta 2's battery life was brutal - frequent resprings from those builds should be expected. Beta 2 also threw me into a DFU/boot loop that, for the first time ever, I had to clean install from to resolve. Beta 3's missed calls for VZW was very tough.

Betas 4 and 5 are/were amazing in all respects. Beta 5's battery is superb. I did have a respring yesterday when initiating a personal hotspot.

Woooow, what a pointless thread, it's like saying "did you like the car better when it was stripped down or now that it's almost fully assembled"

For almost 99% of beta testers every new beta performs better than the previous one.

Beta 4 was the worst for my iPhone 5. Didn't have a single problem in Beta 3 besides the wallpaper going black. My iPad 2 is rejecting Beta 5, keeps rebooting on its own randomly.

Beta 2/3 were terrible on my 4S. Beta 4 was much improved, and Beta 5 is rock solid on my 4S.

Yet look at the results. What a pointless post.

Beta 5 for the iPad - completely wrecked my iPad, crashes on everything :/

Beta 1 for iPhone, even though it was stable enough to use on the iPhone 5, the battery life was terrible.

beta 1 for me i think. on my 4s multitasking didn't work. everything was stuttery and slow. overlapping text everywhere. battery life was just half a day. beta 2 fixed my battery issues and its been uphill since then.

4 was the best for me. on my ipad 2 and iphone 4s it really seemed like a finished product. i had no complaints at all in terms of usability.

5 is worse than 4 for me on both devices.
