Figured I'd try to get this post in between the barrage of 'pre-order' threads (c'mon people, are 50 of them necessary?)
I think all iPhone users since the first gen can agree the speaker is one of the weakest parts of the phone. In all the early hands on reports, I don't recall a single one mentioning the speaker. Is it just as loud? Louder? I'm not saying it needs to be Nextel loud, but it would be nice if it could come close to my work Blackberry in order to be useful in a normal situation.
Was this mentioned and I just glanced over the info? Obviously we'll know next week, but it'd be interesting to know now. You'd think after 3 tries, old Jobs would hear consumer complaints and make a change on the 4th gen.
