I have run out of disk space while transferring video from the dvr to my macbook pro. This has happened to me before but I always restarted the video on the dvr after deleting old files.
This time I wanted to just leave it up there and then delete old files and just let it run without restarting the show that I am recording. Will this start back up on its own when I ran out of space or do I have to restart the whole video from the get go? I have already deleted some files but it is still saying ONE MOMENT PLEASE on the Video capture window. I would appreciate all the help that I can get. I can't seem to find the answer on the internet.

I don't know, but I think that the first thing you need to do is buy an external drive and import the video onto that. You generally need about 10% of your Mac's drive free for the computer to operate properly.
