Welp, my 2011 iMac with a 256 SSD drive is out of space. I'm interested in getting a larger, fast external drive to continue storing stuff. Getting an external SSD is still really pricey, but I've been seeing these hybrid drives getting a lot of praise for the speed and value. I have a 2011 imac with thunderbolt only as the fastest input. It seems like the enclosure route is the best way to go with this, but I don't know the first thing about enclosures or what to pick or what size fits in what, etc.
Anyone have any reccomendations? If there are SSD drives you still want to reccomend at a decent price/memory ratio over the hybrid drive option, I'm still open to that too. Thanks!
