I need to revert a MacBook unibody back to the "out of the box experience". We are deploying several hundred systems to new students in the fall. I have installed all the required software they will need, but want the students to experience the "out of the box experience".

THe only way to do this would be to clone a system that is "out-of-the-box." That means that you would need one that is the identical configuration you need. You can't use the CDs to return the image because the iLife applications won't be included, so you won't have it "out-of-the-box."

But I work at a university and it seems that letting students set up their own computers with admin accounts and choosing migration and internet settings would be a nightmare. I recommend putting a basic image on the systems before deployment.
