I am planning to upgrade my 12ProMax to the new 15ProMax. Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town from 9/22-10/2 so I can’t preorder for shipping. I have considered trying to pre-order for in store pickup, but am concerned I won’t be able to get one on launch day, leading it to arrive later at a store that I am not local to.

I remember there was a website inventory tracker when I got my 12. I tried the link but it no longer was working. Does anyone know if something similar still exists in case I need to try to just find one at an Apple retail location post-launch?

I’ve placed orders for pickup before and you don’t need to be there during your assigned window. I believe Apple gives you a week to show up, which you can extend to a second week.

You can use this as its been updated for the 15.

Thanks so much to both of you - I was able to place an order to pick it up at a store and will hopefully have it held for me until I can get there. If it is not, then I appreciate the updated link as I'll then use that if I need to find an alternate one.

Just keep in mind that Apple can only hold your orders for 7 days. After that they will cancel the order.

Now the Apple Store just shows “In-store availability on 9/22” when trying to reserve an order for pickup. Any idea what time on 9/22 they will start showing availability again? Maybe 8am local time or midnight pacific time?

Same time as preorders, 5:00am Pacific.
