Out of warranty 6+ with cracked screen. Upgrade?

So my wife has yet again cracked her screen on her iPhone. I just dont see the point in fixing it since apple charges over $300 for out of warranty repair. I only owe about $250 on it so I thought maybe selling it and upgrading her to an 6S+.

Are aftermarket screen replacements any good? Or should I just sell the phone and pay it off?

How much is an ATT 128gb 6+ worth with a hairline crack?

jetsam is correct that the screen replacement is $129. The price you quoted is actually $329, and for replacement of the device.

Nope. Cracked screens are $129 but if there's any other problems with the device then it would be $309 .

My daughter cracked the screen on her 6+ and I had it replaced with apple. Just before the warranty on the screen was up the screen became unresponsive in a line from top to bottom.... they replaced the phone for "free" because that's what was suggested by apple. It was the $129 fee.
