I'm in Europe right now so the only options I have are a nearby Apple authorized retail store, but I'm having an issue with the iPhone 6s. I don't know if I'm explaining it properly, but there seems to be a very very small crack on the LCD screen. The actual glass on the phone has no scratches or knicks. Its weird because you would expect that to be what cracks, not what's underneath. But it seems like the LCD has a super small fracture beneath while the glass on top is perfectly fine. Will Apple see this as a defect/fix it? Or will I have to pay to get it repaired? But yes the phone is out of warranty. The crack is barely noticeable but if I ever want to resell it, I feel like it has devalued the phone. What do you guys think?

Should I try an apple authorized retail store or wait until August until I move to a city with an actual one?

Lots of luck with that. As soon as Apple sees that crack they're going to want you to pay for the repair. But as the previous reply stated, "no harm in asking".

Out of warranty means out of warranty. You can pay for a replacement screen, out of warranty replacement device, or just on about your life and buy a new phone when you're ready to buy a new phone.

Can you ask? Sure. Will you get it? No.
