How did you pay for the phone? Some cards offer damage cover... :)

Put the kid on a work furlough program. Make him pay it back $1/hr. :)

I think we need abide by laws and pay at least the minimum wage… but feel free to add like interest, admin fees, processing fees, taxes, installment fees… you know to the tune of easily ten times above the principal. :p

can't you buy the extended apple care anytime within the year? so buy it now and then return the phone.

AppleCare+ is the warranty that covers accidental damage, and you can only buy that within 30 days of when you bought your iPhone.

If you buy it at an Apple Store, they're supposed to inspect your phone before selling to you. I bought mine by calling Apple Care, and they sold it to me over the phone (obviously without checking the phone condition).

You can buy a square trade warranty within 30 days of purchase.. it covers accidental damage, but there may be a waiting period for coverage, I don't know for sure..
There are all kinds of %off codes. It'll cost you about $95 and then $50 fee when used... good for 2 years and 4 incidents

waiting period for new phones is 1 day

try taking it to the apple store, sometimes they will let you buy apple care after the fact

and get an otterbox

Think of it this way. That car you were going to buy your kid... Dont buy it now. There, smashing your phone just saved you thousands.

Make sure you tell him this when hes old enough.
