Hey everyone,
I've been lurking for a while in the Macbook forums and by chance got an iPhone recently. It's pretty messed up to say the least.
I received it unlocked from my friend and have been playing with it for the time being on T-Mobile. The screen is cracked, speaker is blown, and the keyboard doesn't accept typing, on top of the major cosmetic damage.
I decided to drop the $200 to get an out of warranty replacement for the phone. I've successfully restored it back to 3.0.1. and the phone is stuck in the "Sim not installed" and Emergency Call mode.
Question is: Is this ok to ship to Apple? Or should I try to activate with an AT&T sim card first and then ship. Does it even matter?
Thanks in advance!!!
