Hmm when are we getting some new cursors for OS X? The current ones seem so outdated. The only modern looking one is the beach ball, haha.

But like, the pointer-hand, arrow, and the watch cursor have been around forever.

What's wrong with them? You know what the situation is when you see each one, right?

I'd much rather keep cursor icons from OS 1 than have new, Web 2.5-inspired icons that I'd have to relearn.

Or a glossy blue ring that appears every time I click something...

There's nothing wrong with the current ones, they still look good today, with the exception of the watch. Windows comes out with new ones in order for it to appear modern, the OS X one is timeless in my opinion.

I know they get the job done, it just seems since OS X focuses on style, I thought some more updated cursors would be nicer. And not even a totally different icon, just maybe a Aqua-inspired watch instead of the OS 7-style watch.
