Outdent a list in TextEdit?

How do you outdent a list in TextEdit? I can't figure it out, and needless to say, constructing an outline is extremely challenging!

I rarely use TextEdit, but xPad and Journler use the same RTF engine or whatever, so I certainly hope there's such a capability.
 
Definitely weird - double return wasn't outdenting for me, only closing the entire list last night. It's working now!

It works pretty much like it does in virtually every other wordprocessor. Just drag to little down-triangle to the location of your left margin. You have the little tackhead to the left of the down-triangle.
