Outdoor speaker setup recommondation

Hello..

I am looking for tips on how to setup some speakers for outdoor use. I have an extra AE that I could use to hook up some speakers but do I need anything in between the speakers and AE?

Wireless speakers? Has anybody used and with success?

I have an iphone/ipad that I could use to control my iTunes library but I am unsure on what is exactly needed.

If the speakers are capable of being plugged in without an amplifier/receiver, you're ready to go with what you have as long as you get Wifi reception outside your home. Just set the AE to connect to your existing network, and it'll pop up as an available output location.

That is what I was hoping to hear. Thank you. You wouldn't happen to have a recommendation for speakers would yeah?!?!
