Hi there

I have an early 2015 13" MacBook Pro in a fairly good condition, but the screen has two small scratch marks on the left side as well as some sort of discoloration above the camera area. I have read about that issue before and it seems like Apple was replacing the screens for that issue for free, but unfortunately that warranty isn't extended to Egypt as there's no actual Apple store here, but rather a couple of authorized re-sellers and that's it.

The screen itself works great but I was wondering if it's possible to replace just the outer panel/glass on its own? Is that even a thing? Or would I have to replace the entire display assembly in order to achieve that purpose?

Thanks for reading.

You cannot replace just the glass without destroying the LCD.
Even though there are no Apple shops, contact Apple online or call them, i'm sure there are Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) there and they can order a new LCD assembly and replace it for you.
If you say there is a discoloration on the glass (coating delamination) that will be replaced for free since there is 4 years replacement program from the date of purchase.
So, just contact Apple and tell them about the delamination and they will sort it out with you.

@DeanPSN I did talk to Apple about this and they provided me with numbers for local AASPs but the problem is that I recently replaced the battery outside Apple, and I am almost certain they will use that as an excuse to avoid this repair.

Don't think so, the problems are not related and they know it.
Show them the screen delamination and then they will write a report and order new part.
I had a 2015 MBP to which i replaced the Trackpad ribbon cable myself and the didn't say anything about it, they just replaced the entire LCD assembly.

OP:
Read up on "StainGate".

Take the MPB to an Apple Store.
It -might- qualify for a free screen replacement.

No promises.
But... take it in anyway.

OP has no Apple stores, as stated in post, but, yes, any authorised service point should be able to do so too.

You can get just the glass replaced. I have had this done. I first went to an Apple authorised repair company I know but they said Apple wouldn't authorise them to replace just the glass. I was told Apple are very strict on this however there are many third party repair companies in England who will replace just the glass and I used one of them.
