Just received and set up my new iphone 13 Pro Max and now one day later I discover the only people I can call or text to is people with IOS devices. Thus I cannot call or text most of my contacts. I’m on my way to Verizon now to see if they will help. I transferred the SIM card from my iPhone 11 Pro Max but possibly it is not compatible with my new phone. Very frustrating as my wife is in a nursing home and I need to stay in contact it’s her and the facility. Any and all help appreciated. I have made sure “Airplane Mode” is off and I even reset my network…..so far no luck and I would believe because of the lack of calls today that anyone with an Android phone cannot text or call me either…….thanks in advance.

Problem solved. My carrier (Verizon) told me that you cannot swap a SIM card from a two year old iPhone (my iPhone 11 Pro Max) and expect it to work. The two year old SIM card is 4G and the iPhone 13 Pro Max needs a 5G SIM card. So after they replaced it I now can make phone calls and text. “Find My” still doesn’t seem to work but I’ll address that later.
