Outgoing contact photo not visible?

Another thread on this :p

I tried making an outgoing call to my hubby, and the full screen contact picture comes shows up very briefly but then it goes to the call screen with keypad, call duration, end call, etc. until the call connects and then it is still that call screen.

Should it show up for outgoing calls?
