outgoing mail is not working...

When I try to send an e-mail, I get this error:

But my incoming mail works. What should I do?

Mac Mail > Mail Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Server Settings.

Authentication: Password

User Name: Your email address

Password: Your email password


Also check to make sure that your outgoing mail server (smtp) settings are correct according to your IP.

It could just be your ISP has gone tits up for a while.
