Any chance someone could do a microphone and codec compression quality check and put up a voice sample?

A good way to do this is to call into a Google Voice number and leave a voice message (read off a paragraph or a bit of poetry) and then post the sound file directly, so we can all listen for clarity, dropouts, etc. Please post your carrier too because different carriers use different compression codecs at their end too dramatically affecting clarity (Sprint being most clear and Verizon being the worst in the US).

The reason I say Google Voice is because it just lets you save the audio files effortlessly. I'm not sure if there's a way to get sound files out of iMessage too?

It would be great to know how the iPhone 6/6+ performs as an actual phone, but online reviews that actually objectively test the phone part of the phone when they test phones are practically non existent.
