Outlook 2011 cannot view public folders

Hello,

I'm trying to access public folders, but having issues.

i see the list of folders and subscribe to 3 of them. I can even see that I am a reviewer on one of them.

However, when I go back to the main screen, my Subscribed Public Folders list appears as if there's nothing in does. Doesn't work like Outlook 2010 at all. Any suggestions?
