I have Outlook for Mac 2011, and I sort my e-mail by categories. I like to collapse particular categories that I'm not using... but for some reason, they don't stay collapsed. In the Windows version of Outlook, I never had this problem. Is there any way to fix? Collapsing/expanding helps me keep my sanity when poring over my inbox. Thanks!

you could try going to contacts tab (cmd + 3) > the address book and unstick the categories u don't want to use..maybe that would help.

I use the same but no such issue. If I collapse or extend some e-mail folders - they stay at the same state as I close the application
