Outlook 2011 Deleting Mail

Hi, I've just purchased a new Mac and have started using Outlook 2011 (I used to use Entourage) but I'm having a problem with the mail client. I receive emails and after 2 hours my Outlook deletes them. I've gone through filters, mail rules, smart folders etc and there is no explanation I can see. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how I can get around this issue?
