I shutdown my mac, and when i restart it my outlook 2011 loses the default identity and creates a new one with nothing in my account. I always have to rebuild the last backup made (that it is done automatically before the shutdown) and then make it default again.
Does anyone knows how to solve this problem ?! Its very anoying

I see two possible issues.

1) Permissions issue where your Identity is Read only.
2) Upgrade to SP2 database failed.

Have you updated to v14.2.2? If not, do so now, but see how to move to a new Identity below before you upgrade.

What type of account(s)? (POP, IMAP, Exchange)

Even though some users had what seemed to be a successful upgrade to the SP2 database, issues in the Identity are causing concern. I suggest you move to a new Identity. Follow directions here:
