Outlook 2011 syncing problem

I had ms outlook 2010 on my pc and when i made the switch over to a mac i got outlook 2011 and when i added my email account, it did not sync any of the folders that i created. i did not create them in outlook 2010, i created them on hotmail.com. i hope someone has an answer for me...

I created PST files and did an import. No issues

but if you delete a message on outlook 11 and then go to the severs website, are they deleted there?
