Outlook 2016 won't connect to server

I can't get outlook 2016 for mac to connect to the server using sierra. Is anyone else having the same problem?

This is at work with Exchange servers, yes? Check to see if the host name of your mail server resolves at a command prompt in terminal. We've seen issues with beta builds in the past that had issues with Windows DNS.

It's actually at home without exchange servers.
