Outlook alerts?

Firstly, I hate Outlook. There was very little wrong with Hotmail as a basic email service in my view, but no... they just had to d*ck around with it...

Sooo. I'm trying to find a way of having Outlook alert me with a text message when I receive new mail, but in all of the account settings I can find nothing.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Why not just have the new email show up on your screen as such? Why would you want a text message about a new email that you received? Do you not have email setup on your phone?

If that is the case I can see this.

If you have an iPhone (or Android I suppose too), Outlook.com's push works flawlessly, not sure why you don't do that instead.
