I have a 16GB iTouch that has been working fine, syncing fine and no major issues.

Just got a 8GB iPhone for my wife and installed on the same computer that I have the iTouch on.

No problems, everything looked good, but now I can get the calendar to sync up on both devices. Contacts get updated, but calendar items don't.

[Sync calendars with: Outlook] checked
[Selected calendars] checked
[Home] checked
[Outlook] checked

(Now, why are there two calendars listed with one Outlook program?)

I've unchecked the sync option, clicked apply, then checked it and applied again. Still can't get them to sync up.

Any thoughts, suggestions, questions, comments or other helpful ideas?

I'm guessing you're using Outlook 2003. Using Outlook 2007 my Touch syncs calendars perfectly. My suggestion is to upgrade to outlook 2007, or wait and see if Apple comes up with a fix.
