Outlook for Mac and Exchange vs. POP 3 or others

Dear All,

Does anyone know if most Outlook for Mac issues (corrupted data/identity files, rebuilds etc.) happen with Exchange users vs. POP 3 and/or other mail protocols?

Additionally, does the version of Outlook for Mac have an option to use the Cached Exchange Mode like the Window's version or does it offer something similar?
