Outlook for Mac and Gmail

Hi guys! I'm having problems receiving email on Outlook (just the gmail account), sometimes it take ages to receive them, so I have to close the app and open it again and they automatically pop up

Help, please?

Only thing I can suggest is to use 's mail app, not really much help but thats what I use and it works really well.

Outlook for Mac was borked out of the box by Microslop. The boys in Redmond have refused to address some of its core problems (including this one). I did a quick search ("Outlook for Mac and gmail") and there are quite a number of sites with possible work-arounds.

I need Outlook because of the exchange accounts, so I cant use apple's mail app
