Two odd issues with Outlook and iOS 26. Has anyone else encountered these?

Basic issue: no notifications with Outlook. Checked all the usually suspect settings (e.g., DND is not on). First odd issue: in the app list under Notifications, Outlook is not even shown. Second odd issue: Outlook does appear in the full app list, but when opened it shows no setting for notifications at all - no option to turn on or off, nothing.

I've been all through settings and don't think this is the issue. Outlook is managed by my employer via Intune Company Portal, and I'm wondering if there's either a bug in Intune's MDM or perhaps the version of Outlook that downloads from the Company Portal app (can't use the App Store version, I'm told but haven't tried) has got some custom setting that's broken.

They will only show up here if the app has requested to show notifications, so it sounds like Outlook hasn't done that yet.

Just to confirm... In Outlook, under Settings > Notifications & Sound, you have 'Allow Notifications' toggled on? Try toggling that to see if it triggers the request to allow notifications. Also in the app, you can go to Help and tap 'Test Push Notifications' so see if that does anything.

If you still can't get Outlook to request to allow notifications, you may need to uninstall the app, reboot, and reinstall.

Solved - and I'm definitely blaming Intune. :D I deleted Outlook, reinstalled from the App Store, and did a hard reboot. Bang, all the toggles you'd expect are there, both in the app and under Notifications, and everything works fine.

Thanks - toggling on notifications - can't, doesn't appear anywhere under Notifications. This version of the app doesn't support testing push notifications. I'm leaning toward problems with the Outlook app as supplied for MDM.

Of course, the only response from User Support or the tech people is "you shouldn't upgrade until we've tested it." Not really buying that - if I ran the tech group we would be testing the betas, and if there was a problem with MDM I'd be all over the vendor...
