Hello, I had been running Outlook (Office 2011) on 10.8.5 for about a year. There was no problem but recently, whenever I launched the application, it exited by itself immediately. I reinstalled Office and got the same problem. Any idea on what is going on and how to fix it? Thanks.

Outlook quits immediatley upon launch

I've had similar issues on several of the Macs we use, the guide linked above is a good test - but I've usually had it up and running again by re-building the office identity.
Just hold down alt when you launch Outlook, it'll backup the current profile and rebuild.
When its finished select the new profile as the default one, then launch Outlook. It could be something else, but this one task has fixed the issue in 90% of the cases.
