I restored my iPhone and now my outlook set up won't work. Tried using exchange settings, but it asks for a server. Tried pressing outlook and I get unable to verify account info.

I've changed the password and it works on mobile Safari.

I am NOT using Office365.

I've been trying for hours. Lost here. Never had a problem before.

That was it. I shut off 2 factor authentication and it worked. Crazy that using 2 factor is not very well explained.

It's really not complicated. Just generate an app password on the outlook.com web page and use that in iOS Mail instead of the main account password. Just remember that the app passwords are revoked every time you change the main password. I would not recommend to go without 2-step for security reasons.

I tried looking on the full and mobile site. I didn't see anything about generating a password for mobile.

Never mind. Found the procedure. All set. Thanks.
