Outlook webmail with 8.1.1

Every time I attempt to check my Outlook e-mail via Safari after updating to iOS 8.1.1 Safari crashes. I have reset my phone and cleared by browser detail out in the settings. Any insight?

Is this using Outlook.com (as in Microsoft's email service) or using OWA to access an Exchange email service from your employer or something like that?

This is using Outlook.com via Safari. It probably crashes the browser 9 times out of 10.

I think there is a OWA App from microsoft... would that not work ?
I do remember seeing it sometime back.

That one is free itself but only works with Office 365 accounts as far as I can remember.

That said, Outlook.com (and Hotmail) can basically natively be used in the iOS Mail app itself.

What fevice are you using ? Have been using outlook.com on ipad air, mini gen 1 and ipad 2 without such issue.

I have an iPhone 5 and really haven't had any iOS 8 issues besides this.
