Does anyone know the start date for the Apple 14 day return period? Does it start when you actually receive the package? My order says already "Outside return period" and I received my air on the 3rd of August.

For eligible Mac, iPad, iPod, and third-party products, you have up to 14 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return.

You must return the product to the Apple warehouse within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA.

You have 14 days to file a return from date you receive, and then 14 days to get product to them after RMA is issued.

Thanks guys!! Its very strange that my order says its outside return period? I have 5 days still left. Possibly an error then..

I've wondered this before because when I PRE-ORDERED my iPhone 4, the warranty started on the day I ordered it even tho I didn't receive my iPhone for another 10 days. I thought that was unfair because Apple would not let me get it from their store before then.
