Hi, hoping you can help please. I've now got a large? over my applications folder in the dock on my macbook and the folder won't open. :(

? over applications folder

The folder is there to the right of my dock but has a large? over the top of it and won't open by clicking on or Right clicking and asking to open.
Thanks for trying to help me :)

Sorry, I don't think I made my self clear. Can you access the folder in another away?
Like Finder -> users home folder -> Applications

Is there a way (besides using the dock icon) to access that folder?

Ok, then drag the one on the Dock off to the Desktop, and release the mouse button. It will be removed from the Dock. You'll see a little "puff of smoke" animation.

Now go to the folder that the Applications folder is in, and drag the Applications folder down to the same place the old one was on the Dock. That should fix it for you.

Apologise for the delay in replying, thanks for your help all done and dusted, problem solved.
Thank you ;)
