First time posting here. Essentially pre-ordered 2 phones (in the same order) and the pending bank charge for the full amount was withdrawn from my account, both moved to processing. Fast forward 12 hours, I get a notification I need to change my payment info. I logged in, and saw one of the phones had moved to “Preparing to Ship” and the other one said to update payment info. I then get a notification for 7 declined charges on my Apple Pay account (for an random amount that would not cover the phone that had an issue). I got ahold of Apple, and they said there was a glitch and they were trying to over authorize the order. Has anyone heard of this before? The rep said they put in a request to remove the over authorization, but who knows if that will fix the “update payment info” thing. Just super weird… I’m getting one phone for sure. The other is in limbo even though it’s paid in full. Any guidance is appreciated!

This just happened to me with the watches and it’s going to cause my card to decline for all my auto pays. Just WTF?? I’m so pissed. They’re like it will be 7 days. Well I don’t have 7 days.
