I know this is going to sound lame. Is there such thing as over charging the MBP and is it even possible to over charge the batter and make it last less than 10 hours of how long it supposed to last?

Thank if anyone could tell me!

Mahalo,

You can't overcharge the battery. Read the FAQ that simsaladimbamba posted.

It doesn't happen to my MBP.

This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

lmao, I love how you come in and post a nice guide answering the OP's original, and someone downranks your post....

These post rankings are the most pointless thing on macrumors yet imo!

I didn't notice it until you told me. Thanks. Now I am depressed. ;)
Anyway to see, who did the vote?
Maybe the poster got tired of seeing this FAQ over and over again?

i don't think there is any way we can see who did it haha i just found it funny that your post got downranked.... what more did people expect?

Next time you post a link to the FAQ, you better quote the exact part of the FAQ you are referring to so we don't have to go searching through it... lmao!

:D

Cheer up! I fixed it! :D

If they get tired of seeing the FAQ posted over and over again, maybe they'll stop asking the same questions over and over again!

Except it's better if they read the whole FAQ. If they don't, they're likely to ask another question that's answered in another part of the FAQ. I can't count the number of times a poster has asked 2 or 3 or more questions in the same thread, to which the answer is: read the FAQ!

I never read the FAQ, it just says "battery" and "Apple" in the title, so in order to quote from it, I would have to read it. So if I can't be bothered to read some bastardian FAQ, the poster I provide it to definitely should. Or something like this. ;)

Anyway, when I quoted from the FAQ I still got FLAK sometimes.
I don't get bothered by it, as there is no valuable and constructive criticism involved in post rankings.
I rather take advise from someone like you, who said, what could be done.
I did it before, and I probably do it again.
Maybe I make a nice graphic out of it.

You "fixe" it? Okay, have you gone off the rails again?
Anyway, I love how FAQ sounds like "****" (that censored word starting with F). One could even write something like "FAQ U" in some strange mood.
