over ios4...how to get back to 3.1.3?

so i updated my 3GS to ios4 GM, really does nothing for me, and since the JB apps dont work...i wanna go back to 3.1.3

am i screwed?

not at all, screwed if you want an unlock however.

download 3.1.3 firmware then just shift/option click on restore in itunes and select the 3.1.3 firmware. then use spirit to rejailbreak if you'd like and you're good to go!

cool thanks..figured it out...dfu'd it..then threw that fw in there. mind is in space today.

I think you need to be in DFU mode before you restore.

I followed the instructions here and downgraded successfully. It mentions Recboot, which I used and it worked perfectly.
