Overall 3G coverage compared to Sprint

I'm a current Sprint customer and am impressed at how often I'm in 3G coverage as I travel. As I look forward to getting an iPhone, I'm concerned about AT&T's 3G coverage compared to Sprint. The maps that are available are somewhat helpful for checking on coverage in a specific area, but is anyone aware of any comparison of overall geographic coverage (to account for someone who travels)?

Thanks, but I actually meant comparing Sprint to AT&T (for example--although it can be in whatever format--Sprint covers 50% of the US while AT&T covers 35%)

Doesnt even compare to sprint coverage, but it is suppose to be faster. I always get connected at 2.0mbps on sprint with my wireless card. ATT is suppost to get up to 7.2mbps, but I think it will be more like 1.5mbps
