My concern now with the 4S battery on my wifes 4s is since it drains so fast, she is constanly plugging it to stay fully charged.

With the Li batteries, isn't it best to drain them full cycle before recharging?

So with the battery issues, isn't recharging them so often really going to hurt the battery overall, and cause the battery to be replaced sooner?

Thank you

Apple makes the following note regarding this:

Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

Good link; thanks.

It's amazing, we all rushed out to get the feature packed iPhone 4S, and now we need to turn all the features off to maintain decent battery life; what's wrong with that picture?

There is something wrong with the picture. Your wifes phone should last an average day as do most in this forum. Did you do the latest update? Also what does she have running. Is she using a lot of the social networking stuff. Any software that is polling a server on a regular basis.

Got to be something going on as the battery life is not bad for me at all.
