Overall ordering process seems to go smoothly

Ordered family new Iphones this morning. Overall the order process once the pages went live was pretty smooth. Maybe Apple has finally figured out how make the process work better on launch day, or maybe not as many people are getting the new Iphone! Either way I was impressed for a launch day.:eek:
 
lol, you didn't read the threads from people who tried to pre order at 12:01 cupertino time. People were RAGING asking how AT&T and Apple and Sprint and Verizon could screw this up so terribly, how Apple was going to lose market share because of it, etc.

LOL. I actually was up. Like I said once the pages went up things went smoothly. I admit it took them awhile to go live but once they did. Breezed along. A couple of pages didn't load correctly but a quick refresh is all it took. I think they either have more phones this time or not as many orders. Ussually by this time they start to announce it will take an additional week or two to get a phone.:D

I started at 3am EST and didn't get my order confirmed until 5:25 am.

Was not smooth at all, but since I have the iPhone 4 I wasn't too worried. I could've waited a few weeks if it came to that. I'm not sure Siri could love that long without me though!
 
Apple and AT&T didn't start taking orders until around 4am EDT. I wouldn't call that smooth.
 
Idk when all these problems were. I woke up at 3:30, went on Apple and everything was fine but I didn't go through the whole process. Woke up at 5 and checked, everything was smooth. Finally ordered it at 9, and again it was smooth.
