Hello, i am wondering if it is possible to overclock the gpu in my mid 2009 white macbook (non unibody) i dont want to do it within windows 7, i want to have the gpu overclocked in mac osx (currently running mountain lion)

any help is appreciated!

It cannot be overclocked in Mac OS X. Strangely enough the only Macbook with an overclockable GPU is the Macbook1,1 and Macbook2,1. All the overclock in those really does is reset the GMA950's clock speed to the default of 400Mhz as opposed to the default of 250Mhz.

If you're talking about gmabooster, it does jack ****. I actually get a higher bench score at 250mhz than 400. In Windows, sure. Then it does wonders, but in OSX, I dare say its just a placebo effect.

That placebo works for me on my Mac Mini and Macbook. Not ever Mac with it comes with it set to the default clock speed.

If you want to OC, you are going to have to go into Windows.
