Yes folks thats right, I overclocked my brand new Palm Zire( I am probably stupid to have done it in the first place , but too late). The original processor is a Motorola 16 mhz dragonball processor, but by downloading a program call fast cpu for my palm zire, I now have it running at a wopping 32mhz. There is a considerible difference with the speed in all aps , and the software developer swears it will not damage my palm (that is yet to be seen), but the only downside is battery life, which seems to be running out much quicker, but not that fast realy, I would say a good 3 days of constant use before you even think about charging it again. Also, using a benchmark program for the palm os, I have seen a score change from 91% on the original , to a 249% for the overclocked one. and the best part is the program can be turned off if you do not wish to have you palm running at 32 mhz, or you can even lower the clock speed for each application (i.e. adress book @ 32mhz, and datebook @ 16mhz-+) , Also santa was good to me this year, depositing a new ipod under my tree:eek:

happy holidays,
