I don't own one I just have a macbook, and it gets really hot, wouldn't the macbook air get way hotter and possibly overheat?

The MBA runs much slower than the MB or MBP, and has hardwired systems to prevent overheating. But, yes, they, like all systems could overheat.

The MBA gets just as hot as my old MBP...hot, but not "ouch" hot. Not really much of a proiblem. In fact i'd say most of the time it runs quite cool, except when used for longer periods of time.

Weezy F Baby - If your MB is overheating, do a google search on smc fan control. Many members here use this program to control the speed of fans to lower temps.
